Filing leins on a house
 
Does anybody know how to file a lein on a house?

What type of lien? Are you talking a mechanics lien? where they owe you money for work performed but not paid?

Not sure about other states, but in Delaware you file your lien at the Prothonatory's office at the county court building.

When I have done it, I am not a lawyer, I have a judgement from the court which is automatically accepted by the prothonatory.

If you do not have a court judgement, the prothonotory will not accept the charge.

hire a lawyer is how ya do it. go to lawyers.com, good search engine there
